A new Theatre Director at KELLEY THEATRE
GOODBYE BRETT, WELCOME RICHARD!
After over 15 years, Kelley Theatre Director Brett Harwood

Closing the season 2007/2008:
DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS
The amateur world premiere of the Broadway smash hit opened and closed to standing ovations at KELLEY THEATRE.
Set on the French Riviera, this musical was a hilarious battle between two con men, that kept our audiences laughing, humming and guessing to the end! Pictures are available in a little, dirty, rotten gallery ;-). DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS was also the 50th and farewell directorial work of Brett Harwood for Kelley Theatre - he will leave to join the staff of the historic Richardson Theatre in Honolulu, Hawaii. Record-breaking season at KELLEY THEATRE
A LOOK BACK TO 2006
2006 marked a milestone in KELLEY THEATRE history. First, we set up a new record at the EUROPEAN TOURNAMENT OF PLAYS with our European Premiere of URINETOWN:
never before in the history of the contest had a single show been awarded so many prices and was nominated in so many categories: it received 31 nominations and won 12 Topper Awards. We thank everybody involved in the show and our incredible audience, that has made that success possible. All details on the AWARDS PAGES. Relive a bit of the URINETOWN-spark with the URINETOWN-gallery or watch the URINETOWN-Video-TRAILER: Windows / Mac.
Then, after a major renovation during the summer, we reopened the theatre with a new lobby and the Broadway Café. The theatre now has a new entrance, a coat check, a nice and shiny new bar and a box office.
During intermission and after the show, we now offer fine pastry and coffee in our beautiful New-York-style coffehouse. The big reopening of KELLEY THEATRE was celebrated with one of the most wonderful musicals ever written:
LES MISÉRABLES
LES MISÉRABLES turned out to be a huge success: we were sold out for all the entire run. Each night again, the audiences praised the -quote- "amazing quality of this production". During our run, LES MISÉRABLES became to longest running musical ever. Read more about the production HERE, view pictures of the production HERE. One year before, we already had had the opportunity to celebrate:
25th ANNIVERSARY OF STUTTGART THEATRE CENTER
In 2005, the Stuttgart Theatre Center celebrated its 25th year of providing first-class entertainment, music and theatre to the community. Take the opportunity for a look back at the history of the Stuttgart Theatre Center on our HISTORY PAGE.
